Roma Tomato Seedling
Medium-late-ripening, oval tomatoes with a thin skin. Excellent juice tomato.
Sowing: From the end of February in the cold frame or in pots. Mid to late May. Spacing: 60 x 80 cm. Care: They love a full sun location and require plenty of water and nutrients. Keep weed-free. Notes: Firm-fleshed fruits. Particularly suitable for cooking and grilling, as well as for making tomato paste and tomato juice. Germination time: 8-14 days. Harvest: From July/August.
You may know this tomato from your holiday in Italy. There, and now throughout Europe, the variety is particularly appreciated for pesto and spaghetti sauce because of its intense taste, juicy, firm meat and tender skin. Stick tomato.
